It’s that time of year again – the leaves are changing colors, the air is getting cooler, and football season is in full swing. In addition to cheering on your favorite team, you will soon have another place to bet on their games as L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge will open its new sports betting facility on Monday, Nov. 1.

You can place bets on NFL, NBA, NCAA basketball, and other sporting events at the new venue.

New Louisiana Sportsbook

As major sports leagues in the US heat up, the Louisiana sports gambling market will have another participant – L’Auberge Casino. The official launch will be at 4 pm after approved customary regulations.

The new Louisiana bookmaker will offer 25 sports betting kiosks and several ticket-writing stations. L’Auberge VP and General Manager, Kim Ginn stated that the casino is excited to welcome sports fans to their upcoming sports betting location.

“The passion for Louisiana’s sports teams runs deep in this region, and we look forward to becoming a destination for fans all year round,” Ginn added.

As per the release, there will be two sports betting locations within the casino premises, one on the ground floor by  High Limit Slots, and another at the Promenade area.

Betting Hours on Ground Floor

Monday – Friday: 10 AM to 11 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM until 10 p.m.

Betting Hours on Promenade Area

Fridays: 4 PM to 10 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM to 11 PM

Ronnie Rantz, The Chief Operating Officer and President of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame will be the one to put the first wagers within the facility.

Louisiana Sports Betting License

The license obtained by L’Auberge is only limited to retail sports betting, but its mobile sports betting app may launch soon. Louisiana Gaming Control Board Chairman Ronnie Johns stated that there are nine more pending license applications for sports betting and their goal is to approve all of those by the start of 2023.

The sports betting industry in Louisiana is booming, with new sportsbooks popping up all over the state. After becoming one of the states where sports betting is legal, the Pelican state and sports fans have experienced a windfall during the past year.

The emergence of Louisiana sportsbooks has been a boom for the local economy, as it has brought in new jobs and tax revenue. It has also been great for sports fans, as it gives them a place to legally bet on their favorite teams.
